Equate Epsom Salt is a 6-pack of unscented 64 oz (4 lb) bags made with Magnesium Sulfate USP. This multi-purpose salt dissolves easily in water for bath soaks and warm compresses. It can be used as a soaking aid for minor sprains and bruises, and it is also labeled for relief of occasional constipation when used as a saline laxative. The resealable bags help keep each bag easy to store between uses, so you can keep a practical supply on hand for bath, wellness, and other household uses.
- Includes six individual 64 oz (4 lb) unscented bags.
- Made with Magnesium Sulfate USP 100% as the active ingredient.
- Use as a soaking solution by pouring 2 cups under warm, running bath water and soaking for 15 minutes, three times a week to aid minor sprains and bruises.
- For relief of occasional constipation, this product generally produces a bowel movement in 1/2 to 6 hours; for adults and children 12 years and older, take 2-4 level teaspoons dissolved in a full glass of water, and for children 6 to 11 years, take 1-2 level teaspoons dissolved in a full glass of water.
- Can also be used as a warm compress by dissolving 1 cup in 1 quart of water and applying with a towel for 15-30 minutes.
- Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight; if caking occurs, tap the pouch gently to free the granules. Some settling may occur during shipment.
