Expert Gardener Expanding Soil Concentrated Potting Mix, 2.25 cu ft

This expanding potting mix gives you a compressed coir growing medium that opens up with water to make up to 2.25 cu ft. Made from 100% coconut coir and CocoPeat, it offers a lighter, easier-to-handle format than a traditional bag and helps keep hands cleaner during setup. The coir holds water and nutrients, making moisture available as roots begin to dry out and helping reduce how often you need to water. Use it as a soil amendment or growing medium for vegetables, herbs, and many other plants. It also works for hydroponic growing.

• Roughly 7x expansion from its packaged size when water is added.
• pH neutral, washed, and sterile growing medium that can be used for food-growing applications.
• Improves aeration and drainage, and can help prevent damping off when starting seedlings.
• Lasts up to 2 years before breaking down and feeding your soil.
• Made from renewable coconut coir as an alternative to peat moss.
• Additional uses include reptile bedding for aquariums and a natural absorbent for oil spills.
