Midnight Wine Shine® weigela brings a touch of drama to the landscape with its deep, glossy foliage that gleams like polished onyx. Unlike other dark-leaved shrubs that can fade in the sun, this beauty holds its rich color with incredible luster, season after season. In spring, soft pink blooms sparkle against the inky backdrop, drawing in pollinators and creating a striking contrast. Compact, hardy, and easy to grow, it offers multi-season interest without fuss. Best of all, it naturally resists deer and rabbits, making it as reliable as it is beautiful. A fabulous alternative to Berberis in areas where it’s restricted, Midnight Wine Shine weigela is ideal for borders, edging, or anywhere you want a low-maintenance plant with a bold, elegant presence.
